This site exists to feed people with news, information and developments on the growing online chat trend.

What's in the Name?

Chat = chat
Now = now, instant, immediately
Yak = slang for talking, communicating, chatting — yakking!

So basically it's a way of saying 'instant chat' and being short it's hopefully easy to remember.

What's Up & Coming?

Well, we are planning to paginate this informational chat site as much as we can with relevant and appealing content. We hope to add an RSS feed, multiple polls and even instigate a dynamic and inspiring chat environment. We want to use what we have learned about online chat to enhance the experience and run some interesting experiments to gain a better grip on this subject.
